Maris Ensemble creates refined, personalized live music for weddings, celebrations, and curated events. Based in northern Germany, Maris Ensemble performs throughout the region and is available for destination events worldwide. We bring together exceptional musicians in flexible formations from string duos to full string quartets, with or without vocals, always shaped around the atmosphere and vision of each event.

Maris was founded after years of performing in orchestras and opera houses, with a desire to create something more personal and intentional.

Beyond our work with clients, we are committed to supporting professional musicians within our region by creating performance opportunities that are sustainable, flexible, and artistically fulfilling.

Michael Drobycki

Co-Founder | Musical Direction & Violist

Michael Drobycki is an orchestral and chamber musician with over 15 years of professional experience. His musical leadership, artistic integrity, and trusted circle of collaborators form the foundation of every Maris performance.

Agostina Migoni

Co-Founder I Creative Direction & Vocalist

Agostina Migoni is an opera singer and soloist with Volkstheater Rostock. Her experience spans performance, artistic direction, and creative branding, shaping Maris with intention and ensuring each collaboration feels seamless, personal, and thoughtfully curated.

  • We are based in the Rostock / Mecklenburg-Vorpommern region and regularly perform throughout northern Germany. We are also available to travel for weddings and special events, simply let us know your location, and we’ll discuss the logistics with you.

  • Our primary formation is a string quartet, but we also perform as a trio or duo, with the option to include vocals. Tell us the sound and atmosphere you’re envisioning, and we’ll help design the perfect ensemble for your event.

  • We typically offer performance packages ranging from one to two hours. Whether you need music for your ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, or a combination of all three, we offer flexible options to suit your event.

  • Absolutely! We love personalizing each event. If you have a special song in mind that isn’t currently in our repertoire, let us know. We’re happy to accommodate special requests whenever possible.

  • Yes! However, to protect our instruments, we do require adequate shade and weather protection. We’ll review all necessary details with you during the planning process.

  • We recommend booking at least 3–6 months in advance, especially during peak wedding season. However, if your event is approaching soon, feel free to reach out via email or using our contact form. We’ll always do our best to accommodate.
